Default low power, stalling, erratic shifting, P0628?

so Like it says in the title those are my symptoms. 2005 4x4 kn filter and tranny basic upgrades and low stall torque converter. Was running tuner but has been removed for diagnostic purposes

Here is the back story-
I have owned the truck a year a two times it has died after coming to a stop and was hard to restart 2-3min multiple attempts.

2 months ago driving home truck has low power. It is ideling fine gains speed but once it gets to 50 falls on its face. Boost goes up, EGT go up but no forward momentum. Next day drive to work same thing. That day I take it into the shop and after talking we think it is the tranny so rebuild tranny and it is ugly, broken chunks in pan, smoked clutches the whole deal.
During this rebuild I also did rear main seal, rebuilt the transfer case, a new injector solenoid and new upper and lower valve seal.

Go to start truck and it wont start, during injector solenoid install got curious and pick up the spring under the solenoid and lost the check ball. I ordered a new one and installed it but figured i did something wrong since it was so small so I said F it and bought a new injector. truck fired right up, idled perfect, and do went to test drive tranny same problem. I also noticed I was loosing rail pressure when I get on the throttle.

The problem has now evolved to truck stalling every time you come to a stop/or let of the gas and let idle basically every 1/4 mile. Wont restart unless you hot the lift pump through the relay for a few seconds and then put the relay back in. Rail pressure at idle is fine but any gas given after partial throttle rail pressure starts dropping till about 7k.

I replaced the lift pump today and thought it was for sure that. Screen was filled with mud and thought that was my issue but does not seem to be.

Getting code P0628

Sorry for the novel but moving to TN at the end of the week and have to have this truck

your CKP sensor could be going bad. check all your connections making sure they are clean and tight. you lift pump could also be going bad, so check the connections on that too.

Never mind no Diode needed as long as you stay off of the ecm pin.

Hello there. Any positive conclusion to your "fuel loss/elec loss" issue??? Just curious as I've just got the same symptoms & code...trying to figure out where to start as I know need to upgrade lift pump but FIRST I'd like to fix the current issue. Any advice GREATLY appreciated. Oh yeah 2004 5.9 w/ 104k(very few mods)

I still havnt figured mine out. I can see I am looking railpressure when it gets hot. I also pulled my fuse box apart and found a burnt up board. Jumped the board and it worked for 5 miles but then had to hot wire it to,start again. The other thread is much more detailed as you see I didn't get much help here.

I drove it here to Chattanooga with the fuel pump and transmission hot wired

Default Low power on power stroke 6.0

I am new to this site and would like any information concerning my problem. At least get a starting point. I have an 2004 F250 6.0 power stroke with 230,000 miles an this first major problem. The truck started fine as I drove down rode I have to go up hill and noticed I had low power almost could not get up hill. I cannot get over 40 mph when I push pedal down it does not increase speed. Check tranny fluid it was ok I do not know where to start. I live in small town with no diesel mechanics. I will take truck to shop for repair but after reading these post do not know where to start. Thanks for any help or information u can give me.
