5.9L CR Bombs (Aftermarket) Discussion of 5.9 Liter Dodge Cummins Diesels with Common Rail Injection Related To Performance And Longevity

Anyone have input on obtaining metering valves as SuperTrucker asked? I'd like to try this myself when I do injectors but would like to have a spare. I would start with making minimal increases in all parts though and work my way up. Thanks for ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

You're not going to find any. They arent sold as in individual part so the only place your are likely to locate one is at a shop that had some bad CP3 torn apart. -

U can get new fca's from cummins for around 100 bucks i guess this is what u mean when u say
"metering valve" -

So what kinda hp increases will this get you? Also, the pics of the valve after using the dremel tool dont seem to be working -

I want to learn more about this. Is the basic whole point of the mod to be able to get more fuel into the engine without having to buy a new CP3? I have been having some problems with about 5 seconds into WOT on level 6. My truck just kind of falls on its face like it ran out of fuel -

Industrial Injection has a 15% more volume kit for CP3s. Its only $350 and it is a R&R. I like the sounds of that. They have several different levels for CP3s mods. My 2 cents.. -

So is this just an upgrade or does it also replace wear parts in the pump? I think mine may be getting weak, it would be nice to kill two birds with one stone -
