I was just curious to see what you guys think about them that have these wheels on your truck, and what they might look like. I was also kind of wandering how much it all was to put these wheels on your truck. Thanks!

The 22.5's are the best thing I have ever put on any of my trucks. My rims and tires have perty much payed for themselves becase so far they have saved me 3 sets of factory size tires.

Do you sacrifice anything, like mpg's, hp, suspension parts, etc... by using 22.5's?

I added airbags to the rear because with a really heavy load that is where it would rub. 20psi in the air bags and hasen't rubed since. Really the only negative to me is stopping distance with a heavy load. When I had a exhaust brake on it wasn't a issue. And really it isn't a issue without the exhuast brake as long as your trailer brakes are in good working order. |
