Default Diesel Auto Power problems?

Anyone else finding these guys unresponsive? I'm not happy that they are sitting on several hundreds of my dollars and yet cannot seem to take the time to respond to a simple email request like "when do you think this will ship"?. Doesn't seem that unreasonable a question.

Anyone else having this experience?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Called and talked to a nice fellow who reassured me that all is well.

By the way when I do receive my parts I'll happily post a glowing report on just how wonderful they are.

No, ive always heard good things about them. Keep in mind some stuff they hand make in shop and with the small size of their shop plus the demand, it can take some extra time.

Glad to hear they say everything is in order. However, It seems a phone call took care of this, perhaps that should of been done prior to getting upset and posting this and then calling? , emails are not reliable as Ive had emails take over 24 hrs to show up in my inbox or to whom ever i sent them too.

Hope you enjoy your parts

Jacob is a good guy that ive gotten a few things from and he has always come through for me, all vendors are really busy because of TS. This thread does not belong in the 24v Bombs section and just a word of advice, you might want to get all your problems in order before u go ahead and start bashing someones company...... my .02

if you read his post he was asking if this was normal or not. I didn't see any bashing at all. and I can understand spending money and getting no response I too would want to know whats going on.

granted he wasnt totally bashing them, but it still gives a company unwarranted bad publicity. Looks like someone may have been a little hasty and impatient. My rule is if a phone call wont clear it up and the problem still exsists, then start telling people. With credit cards, some companies place short holding periods on purchases over a certain amount. This causes delays in shipping as well. All im saying is that he should have gone to the source first.

Default Thieves

Purchased injectors, had them installed and then my truck stopped running. Put other injectors back in and the truck runs fine. Contacted Diesel Auto Power to let them know there were issues with the injectors and I was told to send them back. after a month of trying to speak to someone to find out what is happening, I'm finally told that the injectors were sent in for "testing" and they failed due to contaminated fuel. I don't think this is the issue and can't really be certain they actually tested them. I asked what they were going to do about refunding me (since they had their failed injectors back) and they said nothing. Thousands of dollars. Thieves. Super disappointed.

Give the BBB a call. At the least they should show proof of the testing and failure. If they won't do that at least then I think I would do everything I could to make them accountable for it...

There's usually two sides to every story, this makes me not want to buy anything from them, I'm also curious to hear their side of the story
