Default Boost Elbow

Ok, i just installed an adjustable boost elbow this morning, and was expecting to see a lot more boost, but i got nothing It doesn't matter if the adjustment screw is tightened all the way or backed all the way out, im only getting 22-24 lbs of boost... Am i doing something wrong? What should i check, and what kind of boost should i be seeing???
Thanks Guys

Pinch off the wastegate hose and go for a rip. See if you cant make more boost. If you can't, thats all your truck has.

If your making the same boost as before there may be a wastegate issue. The linkage to the waste gate may not be adjusted tight enough, and is always open a little. It's a possibility.

He may not have enough fuel to increase boost.

Correct, boost is directly related to fuel. The difference between stock and my 65's was 7psi more boost.
