Default What Shocks to Run

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. I need to replace the front shocks. I want to go with something besides stock. I am either going with the Magnums or the Rancho 5000's. I do alot of towing, mostly a 28' enclosed race trailer and I do get offroad quite a bit with hunting land. What would be the better buy for my case?

I've tried em all and went back to the Bilstein 5100's. Only shock I'll buy now especially for towing and hauling weight.

I'll second that, I had the Bilstein 5100's on my '05, as soon as I bought the '97, I put the 4600's on it. It's the exact same shock, just for non lifted applications.
