I would think that the idle would affect it IF it is controlled by the APPS (manual hi idle whereas the high idle is possible by physical pressure on the APPS). If it is electronically controlled, then I don't think so. My truck does run ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

I with ya Marine I was thinking it would be electronically controlled but, like I said not sure I pulled my work trailer today with the torque tune and wow what a difference. I can turn it clear up and actually drive it. Before I was able to use setting #3 half way decent but now its run what ya want Turbo does seem to spool a lot faster but why? I mean I can spool this in a hurry empty but not usually pulling my trailer

My auto Idles right at 800rpm -

I noticed that my throttle has a little more response and my cruising EGT's are down a bit. I still get some surge when running the TQ Tune and I lug the truck. -

I just adjusted mine last night... it was .42v when checked, and the tag stated .562v. I adjusted it to .560 and it seems to be a little snappier on the throttle... havent driven it yet to check for a mpg difference. -
