I would go for the smarty...

Just use the non timing modes and you'll be find...

Then when you get some time I would trade your Edge Comp for a TST and then you really setup...

if you already have the edge comp or drag comp, I dont think stepping up would be using the tst, go with blue chips or the red line box.

I didnt like the smarty-drag comp stack on my auto, it actually hurt me in the1/4 mile.

I used to have 00 cummins

I have the drag comp stacked with the SMARTY and really like it. But next week I'm going to try it with the TST I just got. I am going to try the TST stacked with the drag comp in ez mode with the SMARTY. And then the TST SMARTY. I have heard so many different stories I had to find out for myself. Would really like to find a dyno to get some real #'s.

You can just leave the comp wire untapped and run it like an EZ the way I am right now.

Bingo How do you like it? I think I like the drag comp better as far as power, but smoke clears much faster with the TST. Now instead of black smoke I get a nice gray smoke for a very short time. Unless I lug it it and hammer it. Everyone say's look out for #9 but I had no problems with it. Comp doing the timing smarty on 8. What have you found? Fill me in Dude I want to dyno different combos and see for myself. Thanks Todd

i had the tst smarty stack and loved it got hot fast, now moved to redline smarty stack gets hot faster, the redline chip has been more tempermental and some times i wish i had the tst back which felt solid every time i used it but i can feel more power out of the redline now that she is working alot better. amazing what some soder can do for connections.......

i have the drag comp and the smarty....lost power on top end with the stack ...also with the stack i got alot of surging holding a steady speed...smarty fuels hard down low but from my experience the comp is alot smoother....i live in VT so i dont run the box alot in the winterthis is my seventh year drivin this truck and have tried alot of combos ...if i were you i would upgrade to the drag comp and call that good for the box and go for a turbo and more fuel, just my .................02
