when i had my 99 i had a simmular set up to what you are running except I had the pulse with the adrenaline and was getting 20 mpg in the city (no tranny work on mine stock setup)
every truck is different but with the pulse you can do more tuning for your truck and set up and figure out what works best

what kinda things get you good mpg and power like more timeing or more fule bec how i understand it the more fuel the more poer but then of course when you push more fuel for power there goes your fuel how does that work .
Im not trying to be a pain in the ass but i am just trying to up my knowledge about the cummins power house |

I thought more fuel would kill my mileage too but I had the fuel setting on the pulse almost full and got better mileage I also had a set of rv275 injectors
you more or less have to try different tunes with different setting to see what works best for your truck and sorry but you are only getting half or less out of the adrenaline without the pulse

yea i know but i had to have it and my patiance werent working
i couldnt afford the pulse i still have to get the pulse a fuel gauge or the piece for the quad and then i wannt some of the rv injectors does theose injectors give you a noticable diff. in performance |

I would say your best bet would be to get the pulse first before injectors and if you don`t have them gauges

The key to getting fuel milage out of these trucks is to keep your foot out of it! The way I understand it, a more powerfull truck dosen't has to work as hard to perform a given task, and will return better economy because it can just lope along, while the lesser engine would be running as hard as it could. I have never lost any milage with any of my mods, and have seen decent improvements when I can keep my foot out of it! Good luck
