Hey guys my first post on the form so here it is I have a friend that wants to sale me a used less then a year old Airdog 100 he tells me that it has a 20lb spring installed for higher fuel pressure I dont know if that is a good thing or bad or if there is such a 20lb spring.
Can someone let me know if there is such a part and any harm or gain from it. -
If this spring is intended to hold 20 psi of fuel pressure that's not a bad thing at all and ya you can change pressures on the pumps so it's probably real. But somethin to be aware of unless your buddy is makin you one hell of a deal, when you buy a used pump you don't have the lifetime warranty that you get with a new one. Very little goes wrong wit these but if somethin does it's on you. So if he's not cuttin much off the new price, go new.
I also have to wonder what else is goin on in this deal that has you questioning it. If this is a friend then why would ya doubt him about the spring. If somethin in your gut is tellin you that this isn't right then you may need to listen to it.
