Default Clutch Research

Well today i got my quad ard installed, and i absolutly love it. As i figured, i would need a new clutch to use the higher levels(the fun ones). so for an 01 that i want to build up to 600-650hp range, with absolutly no sled pulling and maybe only hauling nothing more than a compact car one or so a year, and maybe a few 1/4 mile runs a year what am i looking for. This truck is basically to look good dump some smoke and turn some heads....not much of a work truck at all.....let me know what you guys think. i cant aford one now it will be closer to feb i hope that i can have this done. -

The largest single is designed for 600hp and is not made for towing at all. So with that much power id recommend a Valair Dual Disc. -

Definitely DO NOT get the LUK ceramic single disc. I have one in my truck and it will be swapped for a sprung-hub dual disc around the 1st of the year. It does hold the power, I will say that for it, but the engagement is very grabby and it shakes the whole truck really bad on initial takeoff. It is a u-joint killer from what I have experienced. In certain situations it is very difficult to back up to a trailer and get hooked up. You might try a heavy single from another vendor, but i would certainly caution you about the LUK. -
