5.9L 24V Bombs (Aftermarket) Discussion of 24 Valve 5.9 Liter Dodge Cummins Diesels with VP44 Injection Pumps Related To Performance And Longevity

I was looking into installing a smoke switch on my 98 24 Valve. Can any one tell me what that intails. What wires do you need to tap into and how big of a deal it is to do? -... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

dont do it, its a waste of time and can and probably will not only fry your edge box but it may take your ECM with it. been there done it, wont reccomend it. if you want smoke get bigger injectors or just take off and intercooler boot but dont switch it -

dont mean to be rude but smoke switches are for posers!!!! If you want smoke build it. I can black out entire intersections when i want but I can also back up the smoke. Trust me the smoke gets old. -

X2 on what nbaca said....the smoke really does get old, and it just gives a reason to the EPA to limit what we can do to our trucks -

yup, should. As it is, I leave a pretty good haze with just my RV275's and my Edge Comp, and if I really get into it, I'll lay down a decent cloud. But yeah, I thought I'd fried my Comp with my smoke switch earlier, so it's now disconnected, and will stay that way. -
