I have a 99 cummins with a 5 speed, i want better mileage, more power, and smoke when i want, which chip would be best?

edge chip it has 5 settings plus you gauges it cost about $700. i know a guy that has this chip on this 02 and he is getting 24mpg

x2 for the adrenaline. put one on a buddys 01, big difference in power, shift on the fly, smokes, and on level 10, he went from 15 mpg to 17.8 mpg

I have an Edge Juice with attuide on 98 1/2 4x4 with a 5 speed. I Love It. I get the gas mileage when I want it. (before the programer I got about 16 to 17 Highway and after it jumped to 21 Highway.) and when I want to see the black smoke I just push it up to level 5 and I see enuff black smoke to piss some people off behind me but I have had the programmer on for about 6 months now and I am already upgrading my clutch. Needless to say I like to see alot of black smoke in the rear view. But that is something to think of before you do any upgrades.

OH welcome to DB there is alot of good advice on here you just have to ask for it.

I like smoke too, but i want the extra mileage when i need it too, is the juice pretty easy to install?

i havnt heard much about adrenaline, im wondering which one will waken up my truck more and give me more mpg's and more smoke

I can only give advice on the edge as thats what I have and love it. I think they both will give about the same power and mileage. Just not sure what one costs the least.
