You can do a Valve Body and Torque Converter upgrade.

DTT

We can tailer them to anything you need.

My recommendation is to build the entire unit though. I do understand the financial issues of today, but a TC and VB no matter who's is a temporary fix to a long term issue.

At least both components can be reused in a new install if properly cleaned and inspected.

I agree with above because a whole unit ready to rock and roll is easier and you know it's going to work better than the bandaid of not doing it all at once. Suncoast is a good place too

We just spent $2500, w/new suncoast converter, K3 overhaul kit w/valvebody mods. I didn't have to replace any hard parts.

Cost on building a complete trans will vary, anywhere from $2000-$7500 depending on what you get and who does the work. $2000 is pretty much a bear minimum for a better TC, VB and upgraded Bands, clutches, seals, billet strut anchor and apply lever. Provided you do the rebuild yourself and don't have to do any additional hard parts. If you plan on doing boosted launches or locked up shifts, I would start looking at shafts too if I were you.

If you know people... the shift kit, high energy friction+steels rebuild, and new filter is $274. ATI convertor is proly gonna cost you $800ish. Its a good thing my uncle does racing transmissions. Cause the convertors are marked up quite abit

OOOOOOOO The old trans. ? Temp fix would be a touque converter, value body, and A brand new flex plate. You get a good amount for time out of this combo depends on the horse power BD ,ATI, Level 10 ,Some come to mine.Level 10 did mine made to order.Price OUCH but it is worth it.

Did that give you a stronger intermediate band, and also an upgraded strut, anchor, and apply lever?

Reason I ask is because those bands are usually about $170, and the rest of those parts is another 100 or so.

It already had the upgraded stuff and you may want to call a racing trans place because i've heard these diesel places are doing things bass ackwards and using cheap jap parts. But they seem to be working and i'd be more than happy to get you some phone numbers
