Do you mean turn it up like on the 12 valves? No, the VP44 is an electric pump meaning the only way it can push more fuel is through the use of a chip or programmer which tricks the ECM to make more power. Some chips like the Edge Comp and Quadzilla Adrenaline may require you to tap the injector pump wire which gives you more HP than chips that don't require you to. I think tapping the wire is as close as you can get to modifying the VP itself. -

rich, get a BDVP or a monster.. why don't you throw on the hot rod vp you got?

i dont know of any internal upgrades to do to them. maybe change the keyway for a different timing advance????? but that is beyond me -

My hrvp has different valves inside the rotor so it will have more fuel going to the injector. more fuel=more power and smoke. I dont even run my pump wire tapped because it can flow to much and back flow and cause your rotor head to lock up. It is always best to run injectors when you have your wire tapped just for that reason. I found out the hard way. It hurts the wallet. -

SO VP44's makes more power with a Box than HRVP's with a box. Atleast the ones ive seen on the dyno. -
