Default RAM Air Kit Worth It??

is a ram air kit worth it on a 99 24 valve dodge? Im getting ready to get a different intake system and wondered if the banks ram air kit was all its cracked up to be and if it truly would help with power and economy?

dukeboy_318's Sig:99 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins, 5spd with south bend dual disc ,
150 horse injectors, 150 gph fass fuel pump, Ranchhand winch bumpers, front and rear, 2 inch leveling kit, New Kenwood head unit and speakers, 305/75/16 BFG All-terrain KOs, 6 in hella off road lights, Procomp silver mechanical guages. 5/8 drawstraw III, 1/2 inch lines to the fass for now.
TST dyno results- 463.8 hp and 1076.3 ft lbs

It's a nice kit just way overpriced. Anything from Banks will be quallity stuff your just payin way to much for the name. An aftermarket intake is a must on these trucks but you can get way more bang for the buck with other brands. Which other brand is an argument that could go on for days.

yeah, the previous owner had a fram boost intake system, im not sure i like it though

bhaf it's cheap and easy
