Default HELP HX-40 turbo upgrade

So im upgrading from a stock Hx-35 turbo to an hx-40 i bought from
Ebay. Its a speedy racers turbo and it cost like 400 bucks. i tried to save some money

it came with a T3 to T4 adaptor and all that, but i have two problems with it.

first of all the waste gate is in the oposite direction of the hx-35 so it faces forwards and its right in the way.
the t4 adaptor makes the large turbo to close to the frame and the fenderwell to get the boost housing to connect anywhere unless its up and i cant have that because i have to get my air filter in there and stuff.

so im thinking. at this point since i cant send the turbo back.. im going to cut and weld
the connecting 45degree piece that connects to the boost housing so that its a couple inches shorter and can connect to receiving hose and not be in the way of the frame, when the turbo boost housing is facing down .

and then, i either have to weld my wastegate shut and get a boost gauge

or somehow attach the hx35 wastegate to the new hx40 and make it face in the oposite direction.

im not really sure what to do at this point. but ive already cut out my exhaust and its been a week so it needs to get done.

What should i do>??? any thoughts ? thankkkks

the exhaust housing from the 35 should fit the 40 but with it being a chinese turbo it may not

A 40exhaust wheel is bigger and won't go in an unmodified 35 housing

Well over the years I've had at least 6 hx40 around the shop and none of them had a 60mm ex wheel like a 35. All were bigger, so unless this guy has something weird.....

I'd sell it to some kid with a civic and buy a real one IMO
