95 5.9 in a Freightliner FL 70
Looking @ buying a 95 Freightliner FL70 with a 5.9 Cummins. The truck ways 12,000LBS and I want to tow 20,000 LBS. The cummins out put is 190 HP with only 31,000 miles. It has a 6 speed trans. What can do to it, a friend says a Bigger Turbo? Need some Help! Thanks

A bigger turbo isnt going to do much for you unless you feed it more fuel. a bigger turbo is only part of the equation. More air + more fuel = more power.
This will be the true medium duty version of the engine. Does it have a P-7100 injector pump? If so, theres lots you can do but you also have to weigh the fact that you want to tow heavy - so you really cant go crazy with the modifications.
