Default Symptoms of bad injectors?

So I've been doing some thinking, and dan gave me an idea. What are symptoms of bad injectors? I'm curious to know if my 268k mile cummins has bad injectors but want to know some common symptoms

How much for pop testing? I was told to do this.

What else besides white smoke? Poor mileage? Runs different? Cant bad injectors cause different things to come out of the oil overflow tube? Stuff like that..

ya they can dribble diesel and it can get in you oil. if they dont pop right your fuel mileage will suffer. if there not firing right then they will run rougher.
I dont know what it costs to pop test them but im sure that its not much.

I think I may have found out why I get barely 16mpg highway going 71mph. I may just order bigger stick and call it even. Any more input?

ya dont settle on marine injectors because there cheap. the fuel mileage will suffer because the fuel pattern does not spray in the fuel bowl of the piston. there pretty smoky too.

Ya I was thinking some SDX stage II injectors would fit the bill nicely.

You think 258k miles on stock injectors is pushing it or is that normal?

that's usually pushing it. i pop tested mine on with the equipment at the college and they tested low and dribbled. i wouldn't recommend idling for extended periods of time til you get different injectors in. if you sent them to me i'd pop test them and send them back to you for free
