Just read on CF that the s400 is a good fit to use w/s300. Nice fast spoiling combo.

Way too vague and too many variables. The S300 could have a compressor anywhere from 57mm to 66mm, while the S400 could have a compressor anywhere from 67mm to 80mm. But yes, with the right setup, they can be quick spooling. |

if you want a fast spooling s400 get one with the 83mm turbine wheel and a smaller turbine housing. It will add $300-400 more. We have some in stock. The standard s475 with the 96mm turbine and 1.32AR housing is not the ideal match.

sorry guys didnt see the thread got moved
how would a s471 or s472 fair with the little s357 i have now? Id like a clean and reliable 500-550 to the wheels and im willing to step up to a set of 5x.014s if nessasary, (not sure how much i can squeak out of the 5x.012s) additonally I prefer to fab up my own piping kit, does anyone have a similar set up that would be willing to post some pictures so i can get an idea in my head to work off of. I plan on moving the passenger side battery next to the driverside and getting rid of the afe air box for clearance. |

5x.013 will be cleaner and still get you to 500+HP.
do a 72/83/1.10 or 1.25 as it will spool much faster and will still support 650HP We offer a lot of the piping parts separate. |

5x.012s or 5x.013? I have the sdx 5x.012s currently, my hopes are that with that 72/83/1.10 i can get 500-550 to the wheels, as for the pipiing kit Ill keep that in mind but for now i would really like to build my own since i just picked up a new tig welder. just have to see a diagram of how its ran to get a clearer picture of how i want to build it.

Flanges, clamps and oil lines is what we have that you probably do not want to build or rummage to figure out what to do. there are two sizes of outlets for the 83mm housings

I'm in the process of building my compounds now. I'm using a s362 and a s475. I am also building my own piping. I'll see if my phone will let me post up the pictures I have.
I don't have wi-fi here but I'll post my pictures when I can. The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to build the mount and get your primary, the big turbo, where you want it, first, and then build everything else around it. That would have saved me a lot of hassle. |

s475/87/1.1 is a great primary for a set of twins
