i have been runnin smokems in my truck for a couple months now today i switched to ii's and the truck runs smoother nothing else was changed let me know what kind of injs u prefer -... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

i have been runnin smokems in my truck for a couple months now today i switched to ii's and the truck runs smoother nothing else was changed let me know what kind of injs u prefer -

hotcummins's Sig:12v 5x18s injectors 191 delivery valves 3k springs aroura5000 single i built the all billet tranny and ats 5 disc converter #100 fuel plate fire ringed arp head studs timing 22.0 degrees tabbed kdp quick spool cam and exhaust manifold 5 inch turbo back exhaust w/ 6 inch tip afe intake k&n cold air water meth injection airdog2 165

i like DDPs my self.. but never ran them so i wouldnt know... -

are they the same size and specs as the smokem's...that can all play into how they run, did you buy them new from him or did yo buy them used and maybe they were do to be checked to make sure they are all still to the right specs...

I say all this because from what i gather smokems are some of the best...IMO -

they are both 5x.018s but the smokems were used but with only 500 miles on them the ii were new -

i purchased a set of 24v injectors nozzles from diesel dawgs. they were 150 injector nozzles. i had them sent to an injection shop in LR arkansas. at the time, my mods were the 150 injectors, s&b intake, 4 inch exhaust, airdog 150, spearco intercooler and a goerends tripple disk TC. with only that, i laid down 321 hp. they drove good, didnt smoke to bad.

i currently am same set up as above, but with the 12v. i have a set of 5x.014 sdx injectors, smoke just a lil more then the stock 160 injectors did, noticable power gain. good drive feel. but only had them for 3 days now. -

i think the smokems have more power but i am going to do a back to back dyno next week -

I have built a limited amount of 5x0.018" and I know you don't have a set. Whom did you purchase them used from, Mike Smith? -

Smokem's Sig:Hp numbers, no need to back them up on another dyno, just put them in your signature, it's the coolest.

I just wanted to be sure they were mine, then if I knew whom you purchased them from I may be able to give you some more information about them. My response was out of curiousity, I was not attacking you. What state were they purchased from, there is a good chance someone listed them as mine, when in fact they are not, and I was going to help you find out what you had. -

well if i came out of context i apologize i am just tired of all the bs the guy said they were your i bought them on the craigslist so i am just going by what he told me they are very powerful injectors but it seem to have a rough run as where the ones i just installed are smooth all i am going to do is dyno the truck with both sets -

Here is how I know that they are not mine, Chris has the only set of 5x0.018"s I built, and they are in his truck now. I did however go over a set of JL's 5x0.018" for Mike Smith from Ohio, these are the only two sets I have had. If you like, you could send them to me and I will tell you what you have at no cost. -

Got nothin to lose by sendin em to Smoken though. Never know what you might find out, may even still be his that have either been rebuilt by somebody else or they just advertised the wrong size. -
