need some traction bars for my truck. rear end moves around quite a bit. anyone have experince with building a set?

I built a set for my 2001. Real easy, tons of threads here about them but here are some photos of mine. I made them out of 1.5" sch 120 pipe.

Ive heard that CalTracs traction bars are a very good product

I haven't seen caltracs for the 2nd gens mostly 3rd gens. If you don't make your own, Tuff Country has a set for around $360

farmboy makes some. caltracs = good for drags, not long enough for sled pulls iirc?

Nice work. I always enjoy making something rather than buying. A buddy of mine has some homemade ones like those and they hold up pretty well.
