for 40ish maybe less. you can get a boost elbow for the feed line to the wastegate... you can bring your boost up abit by adjusting it. alls it is, is a spring loaded ball. get some sheet metal and make a heat shield for the BHAF it runs kinda close to the turbo and sucks alot of heat, also tune the AFC. how beefy is your transmission? some other guys will probably chirp in and tell you to grind your fuel plate to a certain profile

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i dont know much about the fuel plates so i'm not going to give ya any advice there

Soon to be:transmission upgade, turbo and manifold swap, and injectors.

tuning the afc involves turnign the starwheel (it can be axcessed via the allen head plug ontop of the housing... screw it torwards the radiator so it is more sensitive to boost and allows fuel to come on faster... the smoke screw (under the tin cap) on the back of the AFC housing adjusts where the AFC sits... you turn it in... it'll hold the AFC forward and sets at what point fueling starts. maybe a turn and a half or slightly better on the starwheel and.... 2ish turns on the smoke screw... should put a smile on your face. since there isnt an "actual tune" its something you just have to mess with. as for the boost elbow... some of the sponsors websites have them. i dont know of any off the top of my head so just dig around and with a stock transmission... turnin the truck up is abit iffy just be easy with the go peddal... they dont like much more power over stock, atleast from take off... that's where everything is put on the hardest bind.

Screw cuttin the plat just take it out hahahahaahaaa. Ok don't do that unless you got a spare trans sittin around as for more power tower of power nailed it right on the head the one thing he didn't say was blockin the wastegate off or one trick I found worked and you don't gain much but is well worth the time is adjusting the trans bands that doesn't get more power it just puts the power you have to the ground more efficiantly

lay of the stones 94 12valve... i was miss informed about the functioning of the governor; made sense to me but yeah; i dont say anything unless i feel confident in saying it if i'm wrong; no big i'll admit it and keep from telling others the wrong info

as for blocking off the wastegate... the boost elbow can do the same it's just more expensive than folding the tube over and putting a zip tie on it; but i prefer some adjustability... no waste gate function can increase the chances of compressor surge...

the AFC housing has ovaled holes... you can take the 4 screws loose and slide the whole housing just like you did the fuel plate

All the added power in the world will do him no good with a stock transmission and converter.

i briefly touched on the fact the stock transmission wasnt up to the task... i didnt really ellaborate since he said cheap... you cant get a whole lot of transmission work done for "cheap" a stock convertor is like 800 bucks and 2200 for a mildly beefed but nothing special transmission with a lower stall convertor...

when i got my truck the tranny was rebuilt in the last 18,000 miles. on the slip it said shift kit and low stall coverter. the price was 2,300. does not say much more than that. will this tranny hold up with the mods i have done?i only use the power when needed. or will this motor eat this tranny up now?

ehhh i think you'll be alright; my transmission guy has told me that the internals hold up nicely until you start romping on it with any kind of power and thats when the input shafts suffer. our trans has the upgraded strut rod that pushes against the bands (which i hear like to snap or walk off) and the upgraded accumulator piston... i think that's the correct term for it. but it's made of aluminum and has seals that resemble piston rings instead of the composite material... either way, for what you have done to the truck and even the upgrades that have been mentioned to you i think you'll be ok. i doubt any "hard parts" are going to suffer and if there are any doubts install a tranny temp gauge. i'd feel safe with it; but that is just me. i'm sure there are more experienced guys with the autos that'll tell you otherwise. you just have to realise with the increased power it also increases the cost of maintenance of things. so you gain some; but ya also lose some. just part of wanting power. IMO you'll be ok
