That chart actually comes from the originators of the fuel stop plate - TST Products.

** Look Here **: TST Power Kit without Video with KDP Kit

The chart was once considered Gospel but that was for trucks that were running mostly stock parts (head gasket, transmission etc.). Now adays, the chart is more of a guide, as guys are trying all different plate configurations. -

It will handle any plate for a period of time I've got the stock 47rh right now its dyin fast but holdin on by the skin of its teeth -

Like I said earlier, I had a 5 plate in my truck for around a year and my 47RH held up and never gave me an ounce of trouble. How you drive is the ultimate factor in what will and won't work with a stock engine/tranny -

I've got 40k on my 0 with 250888 on the stock 47rh and I beat the tar out of it hahaha but I'm puttin an nv4500 in soon -

i've got a 0 in my '97 with no trans problems drive with some sense and you're trans will live drive like a jackass and it'll die out quick -

i got a #100 plate and i drive like a jackass ive had it now for a couple of months and now my tranny slips between 3rd and fourth -

No offense but theirs the two examples on what a fuel plate will do to a stock tranny. You baby it it'll last, you drive it hard and to the limit your going to run into problems... Acourse even babying will eventually lead to a problem but it'll give you more time before the problems arise. -
