the 6.5 turbo is way way way to small to use in a compound set, you should be looking at S471s or S475s

the 6.5L turbo was too small for the 6.5 and all its glory. yes it is aftermarket and you will want something biggeer than a 62 for your bottom charger.

save up and get a smarty or an EFI live programmer. there are some internal mods you can do on your pump but a programmer is where the power is on the common rails. get a good exhaust when the money gets less tight.

I can get you a used HT-60 for about $350+shipping it is a good turbo for compounds and what I am using. I am not a dealer in turbos just know a place to pick one up for you if you want one. The S475 or S471 are 75mm and 71mm turbos which also make a good compound setup.

The turbos are large so you will have fun moving stuff around to make it fit... but it has been done before so there is some evidence that it can be done.
