Im planning on building my dodge 06 auto soon (tax return). I know most places have warrantys, but if i can save $ i will. so my plans are to someday hit 600hp. I've looked for many builders like ats, dave goerend, dtt diesel performance,a few locals, and some others. i was curious if anyone has advice on these or what i should do.

Line em up, and find out which one can do the same transmission w/ warranty length, max hp and torque values. Granted, they're all gonna vary pretty good. But saving a $1000 because one can handle more power, but ends up w/ a short warranty length might sound good at first, but your gonna pay another $4000 to have it gone through because the warranty was only for 30 days, and not 3 years, or whatever is offered.

My self I would not have a ATS transmission in my truck, stick with either a Goerend or Garmons transmission.
