Some kind of diesel treatment or give the truck a good work out. Your injectors shouldn't be dirty unless you ran something other than diesel, like oil.

Throw like a quart of tranny fluid in your tank.

Ignorant statement.......do not use ATF......it does not burn completely......use an additive made for diesels

You're right. I only put it in my tank every couple weeks and it seems to work great. Now I do not know about using ATF with a Common Rail or HEUI Powerstroke but it seems to do fine with rotary pump trucks. Use some Diesel Kleen or even a bit of biodiesel.

ATF shouldn't be used in any HPCR fuel system its hard on the injectors.

You posted the response in a common rail forum??

To the OP, a dose of fuel additive in the interim, or have them pulled and checked by someone like Formula 1.

I use stanadyne I have heard of people adding 2 stroke oil on fill ups as well.

I just put new injectors so I'm not taking any chances with something I put in my wead wacker though.

Sorry...the app I'm using had this thread under "Latest" so I didn't know what kind of truck he was talking about.
