2004 5.9 cummins, 204k miles?
I am currently looking at a 2004 dodge ram 2500 5.9l cummins with 204k miles for $15,998. In my area used diesels are selling for way to much money this is really the only cummins I can afford but just wondering if miles would be a problem? The truck is still all stock witch is good because I would want to mod it and do my own thing with it. Is 204k miles too much to buy a truck I will probably have for a while? And is 204k miles to much to get started on mods? What do ya guys think?

I bought my '03 5.9L HO Laramie Quad Cab/Short Bed with 179k miles for 14. Just to give you an idea on comparable pricing.
Make sure you check the obvious things like tires and brakes, because if you have to throw on a new set of tires and pads right away, you're looking at another $1,500+ you'll be spending on top of your 15k.
Deal with private sellers if you can, stay away from dealerships. My .02.
