Default Need help

I just bought an 05 2500 ram diesel and I am having some issues. It has a 6 in tuff country lift and 33" tires. It's a quad cab long bed. The steering is quite loose and is pretty hard to control going down the road. All over the place. The truck is also crab walking. No signs of bent frame, has dss, drop pitman arm and drop for track bar. I checked to see if all was tight up front and found some things loose that I fixed with no luck. The steering box has some play in it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Another cheap lift gone bad.

Why 6" lift for 33" tires?

The track bar seems tight. I had someone turn the wheel with the truck off and saw very little play.

As for the tires being small. They came with it as I just bought it. The lift has probably been on there for years.

Based on your description of what's going on, my next step would be to get it off there. Probably alot of worn out rubber bushings going on there. Just a guess. Tuff Country is not exactly top of line equipment, from what I can tell.

Sounds dangerous.

you something about it crab walking.....check to make sure rear u-bolts are tight and that you don't have a center bolt in one of your spring broke or a main leaf.
