Default Fuel issue ?

Old account wouldnt let me sign in but anyways......

2004 cummins CR 3500. I noticed yesterday while slowly accelrating that it kinda chugged and missed like it didnt get fuel. cleared right up...Driving today, prolly been 30 miles since this last happened, and it does it again but a lil worse. i noticed white smoke out the exhaust when it happened. Replaced the fuel filter. Stopped and put fuel in it as i was at an 1/8 tank. pull outta gas station it does it again and stalls...took a good cranking before it refired and drove another 10 miles fine...No dash light or anything . i noticed a guy talking about A bad o-ring and the oil on the dipstick being over full. Mine is that way....Any idea's ? please and thanks !
