Coolant filtration sounds like a good idea but is it really necessary?

Nothing is really necessary if you just buy a new truck every 2 years.

I just cannot understand why all my good thinking has not yet enabled me to become independently wealthy so I can buy a new truck every 2 years.

I will blame the economy and Obama for that and in the meantime do everything reasonably prudent to make the vehicles I do have last as long as possible.
