Where the shifter necks up to a larger diameter on the shifter is the rubber isolator. It may be worn, or you have something loose.

Pull the boot up, take the shifter out and put the flat end in a vice to see if thats your problem. Its very simple to remove. And you don't have to take the **** off to remove.

Is it rhythmic like something inside the trans is moving it, or does it just wiggle around when you hit a bump?
