Hi all just wanted to give you a heads up regarding your ECM. I was driving from Pittsburgh to Topsail NC last week and my truck began to rev crazily, staying between 2500 and 4000 without my foot touching the gas. I was two feet on the brake and the truck was lurching forward. I can not imagine the result if I would have been loaded with a trailer. I ended up getting the truck to the shoulder, slammed it in park, removed the key and she kept on revving. I ended up killing the engine but after that all gauges were dead and no response from ecm...if you got the notice about your ecm being covered for life...keep that paper in your truck...it was the only reason I was not out $3000 after mine completely died.
