Default What are symptoms of a bad fca?

I was wondering what the symptoms was for a bad Fuel Control Actuator? my truck has a lopy idle. would this be one thing or not? my truck a month ago threw a p0121 code would this be anything related to a FCA,but that was a month ago and i erased the code and it never came back? need some input guys thanks.

A bad fca likely won't throw any codes. when mine puked, the symptoms were intermittent stutter at idle, the engine would sometimes die when I came off the throttle, and I had to tickle the throttle to take off from a dead stop. Super easy to replace though...takes longer to drink a beer!

A loping idle is a symptom of bad FCA.

Cummins uses Bosch components for their fuel system...if you buy at Cummins, you get Bosch.
