Ok, my cruise quit When i hit the cruise "on" button the light on the dash says "cruise" but when i hit "set" nothing happens. I had the same thing happen on my '98 and it was a vaccuum line, but i figure these things ... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

could be in the switch .......or my bet wo9uld be the clock spring inside the wheel -

No, thats much too expensive to be the problem. It must cost me less than $20 to fix, thats the rules

Nope, 160k miles. Do you know if the cruise system has vacuum lines like on 2nd gens? -

I dont think so............all electronic to the best of my knowlege.......but I have been wron b4 -

Mine did the same thing, i replaced the brake switch and did nothing i found out if i pulled up on the brake pedal with my foot it would work,... sounds cheesy but it worked for me.
