cut your fan shroud in half and then remove it is what i did then you have plenty of room to work in there and when you put it back in i drilled some holes in my fan shroud and used zip ties and stitched it back together so it wouldnt move that was something i learned from friends in high school that drove imports when they would brake there body kits but thats what i did hope it helps you out

There is really no easy way to change it. if you want to cut your fan shroud you can but most people dont want to cut it, def. not a nice truck! just take your time and take the ac condenser, radiator, etc.) off and you can get in there no problem. but watch unpluging the connecter they break easy.

Well got it fixed, the fan clutch nut turns to the left when standing infront of the truck. ended up being able to drop the fan out the bottom and unbolted and pulled the shroud out of the top. all in all went alot better then i thought! first time ever with this thing!!! And once you get it loose you can spin it with a 1 1/5 wrench if you dont have a 36mm and i took a flat strap of 1/8 inch drilled a hole in it to slip over the pulley bolt to hold it from spinning on me. used an air hammer to get it to break loose. had to hammer the **** out of it to get it to break loose.
