Default 2003 Ram 3500 Front Wheel Joints

Anyone know how to remove the front wheel joints? Does the axle have to come out or what? The hub is seized up and not coming off either and not sure how to get it off without ruining it...Any ideas or thoughts?

There's videos on YouTube of the removal. Type in dodge ram hub removal or ball joint installs something should pop up easier to watch then type.

Well the issue is that I can't get the hub off...I know how to it's just seized up and won't come loose...I had all 4 bolts out and the put the tire back on and lowered the truck onto that tire to use the trucks weight and yet it still didn't even move even with having no bolts in it.

Thread the four bolts back into the hub about half way them use a punch and a hammer on the bolt heads to push the hub assembly out.

Do a search on hub removal. Most guys use the trucks power steering to push it out. Hope this helps.

I used a large gear puller, but ONLY to put tension on it while bashing it with a BFH (Big Friggin Hammer). Has worked real well the few times I've done it. If you try to use only the puller, you'll likely pull the hub in two and they're not real cheap.

This way usually works best for me. The worst that will happen is you damage one of the bolts, you can buy bolts at any hardware store though. A chisel and a hammer between the hub and knuckle works if its not on there too bad. A slide hammer will work too, but if your bearing is on its way out, I have ripped them in half before
