It dont sound funny when i crank it over. I have good fuel pressure. It dont want to fire. But once you get the truck running it runs good and then you can restart the truck as long as it dont sit no longer than a hour and a half. If you dont restart it before then your back to trying to get the truck runin. i have 200,000 on the truck now. but, she still runs like new other than startin. Also, it is not throwing any codes at all. thats what gets me.

how are you checking the fuel pressure?....how are you getting it to start back?...long cranks or starting fulid?....is it a stick shift? if so will it roll start when it wont start off of the key?...i'm thinking possibly the injectors are leaking by....when it does start does it rattle at first?.....have you checked the return flow on the injectors?

I have 16 pound of fuel pressure. Yes it does run rough when you first start it. Yes it does crank over. Once you run the truck and it gets up to temp it will restart but im sure thats do to the heat in the motor. I have not checked any of the injectors yet. But, im workin on geting the truck to a shop and hookin up the computer. Im not shur about these newer motors, i have always worked on 80's style cummins in semi's. But, this motor in my truck is a hole nother ball game. Im not good with computer operated stuff. So, if ya all can give me some good idea's of what to check before going to the shop im more than willen to do it. I dont have no problem workin on trucks. Thats my job.
