Default P0500 code

Alright, I'm getting a P0500 (no speed reference signal) code and my speedo is inop.

Well, I replaced my speed sensor and still nothin'. Pretty sure I don't have any broken wires.

So my question is: What else is in my speedo system that could be throwing this code?

If your tuck is equipped with a rear diff speed sensor, this could cause the P0500 code. May want to check that out.

Generally, spinning the rear wheels will cause it. Delete it with a scanner, or it should go away after a number of start cycles (at least it does on the second gens).

I thinks you guys missed the part where I'd already replaced the speed sensor and cleared the code, and got nothin'. Oh and my speedo isn't working.

But upon further research and inspection, I found I have a jacked up connector on my ABS module. I'm currently looking for a used one. Dodge wants mucho bucks for a new one.
