I had dead batteries on my truck and got them fully charged with a charger. Well today, I went out and started it and the parking brake light and the ABS light would not go out. I put the Smarty on it to check for codes and got a P2509 which is POWERDOWN DATA LOST ERROR. Do any of you know exactly what this is? I cleared the code and restarted the truck and the lights didn't stay on this time. I didn't drive the truck, but she was purring like a kitten.

IIRC it just means that the computer ran out of power. Did you have to reset anything on the radio also?

Service manual was in Greek!! Just like 06DIESEL said, in a simple way!! Was insufficient voltage to retain the memory in the ECM.

Yep, I lost all presets and time. That would make sense though, it took almost 48 hours to charge both batteries.
