only downside i hear about doing that is that it can wash the cylinders.
But it does smoke more, i think it fools the computer that it is under full boost IIRC. But i aint a cummins guy - |

Anyone that tells you that's ok needs to give their head a shake. If you want smoke dump more fuel at it with injectors or a box or something. Pulling the MAP will cause the truck (a CR) to go into limp mode and send all kinds of headaches to the ECM which take some care to remove depending on the year of the truck.
It sounds like you need to do some more reading before I tell you where it is located. Once you do and you still want to pull it I'll let you know. Not trying to be a dick - just saving you some money... - |
