Default how to know if rail fuel pressure sensor is bad

2003 dodge ram 3500 5.9 Cummins
Well my girl has been at the dealer for two days and the tech still has not diagnosed the crank no start problem.
He is saying he cannot get communication with the computer. Pressure test ruled out bad fuel pump (so he says). I had three codes running on the truck before I took it in;
0483,2509, & 0073
. Note.. have replaced MAP(manifold air pressure/temp) sensor
Air charge sensor (behind air filter on air hose)
Crankshaft position sensor
TPS
IF I don't have to replace the main computer I sure don't want to..
Is there any way to rule out possible fixes ? This "dealer diagnosis" is costing me 125 an hour and in the meantime I'm losing jobs!!
Thanks for any advice.. I thought having the dealer tech fix it was a safe bet... hope I'm not going to regret taking it there!

There is 3 things I would check, I just installed my 5.9 and it cranked but would not start, the first mistake I made was the ground wire from the ECM on the side of the motor didn't get reconnected at the Power distribution center(fuse box) on the fender wall, they say it is a plug but mine wasn't, there is a 12 volt terminal on the outside of the box that the hot wire goes to and the ground is separate and ties to the negative post, fired right up after that, if you're gas gauge isn't working you can bet this is going to be the trouble area no power to the ECM, second thing I would check is that High pressure relief valve in the High pressure common rail, if it is bad no rail pressure, $700.00 from the dodge dealer and $90.00 for an exchange from T and C diesel with a 30,000 psi setting, you need 4500 psi at the rail to fire the injectors, the 3rd thing is the injector feed tubes re-torque the holder keeping them in the head (24mm) socket, a little higher than current pressure if they are bleeding by you will not get the 4500 psi.

The 03's have issues witht he seal on the ECU A&B connector. The tech should already have the TSB and be addressing it if there is no comm to the ECU. Typical problem, you have a parts changer workign on your truck not a competent tech.

Thanks for the posts. No I'm the idiot that's been replacing parts on this truck for two years. new parts don't hurt a thing. It's now Wednesday, they had it for 4 full days, called last night and said broken wire to the computer. I'm pretty hot over the bill as well , considering had he started running the wiring on Thursday this would've been fixed quickly. RANT
So hopefully I enjoy the $8 dealer truck wash because I'm not pleased with the rest of the "service" there!
I'll believe it's running when I see it. Pffft
