Default fuel system problem

was driving my 2004.5 5.9 liter turbo diesel Dodge yesterday and it dies, like it ran out of fuel, it started and died, let it set for about 30 min started it up and drove it for about 3 miles and it quit again, acted like it was out of fuel, just had the truck serviced about 3 weeks earlier, new fuel filter, oil filter and oil change. the truck has 90,000 mi on it, in great shape.

Anybody have any ideas on what the problem is.

Mine did that last winter it would idle then sputter and die I thought the fuel had gelled. My problem was the battery cables weren't tight enough. Tightened them and never had a problem since. Worth a shot.
