Default Dodge Transmission

I don't pull or haul with my 03 auto Cummins. I bought the bully dog triple dog with outlook and crazy larry. If I don't stay on the throttle and baby it, will the transmission last me a while ? The truck has 110, 000 on it.

I think you'll want a good torque converter and valve body at the minimum if you plan on getting full use out of your upgrades.

Thanks for the bump Luke!
Whit, This is probably a 47re, I've seen more 47's in the 03's than i figured i would! The 04's Are all 48's and theres a good number of late build 03's with 48's!

I feel like your already on borrowed time, Not to mention that every mile you put on that tranny on a higher level is probably another $1.00 you'll spend getting it back to a good working order! (Figure of speech)

Theres actually a great option besides replacing the entire tranny or doing a rebuild!

I would recommend whats already been recommended in a few post , and following it up with saying adding a Valve Body and a good converter will get you where you need to go! Keep an eye on band adjustment!

We also Carry Olee Pooles personal brand of transmission as well! It's built more for race applications though!

If I can be of assistance let me know!

I got 44 thousand out of my stock tranny with a touch under 600 hp to the ground before the input shaft sheered in half....
