hey guys my names chris and im having problems with my trans its a 48re I put a shift kit and second gear band strut, 2nd gear accumulator and a 2nd gear sevro in and for the past 2 months I haven't had a problem than all of a sudden the truck wouldn't read park when you put in park I have to go from park to rervese than back to park sometimes next it wont down shift into first gear sometimes and now 90 percent of the time I have to manually put it in first than yesterday I noticed that the truck would start to search for gears around 30-40 mph and would act like its slippin than the truck would shift I been doing some research and haven't really come up with a answer any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Do you have 2nd gear or is it just jumping by it? Sounds like the front band strut fell out and is laying on the linkage on top of the VB.

 

im pretty sure I do but ill manully shift into it on my way to work tomorrow im going to pull the pan off over the weekend and go over everything I put in and check the bands
