Question Smoke at an Idle...

Alright so this has happened before and cleared up but for starters I have an 04 Dodge Ram 2500 HO series 5.9 Cummins. Just recently it has started smoking at an idle again. It starts out black on these warmer days and then turns white and will go back and forth between colors very slowly... And when I first start the truck it is pretty visible and after the truck runs for a while the smoke begins to fade but is still present.. but you have to look from a distance and I do have a black exhaust tip so it is easier to see. The engine runs great no idle problems and there is absolutely no visible blowby in the crank case. The fuel pump was just recently replaced along with a new pf7977 fuel filter... the air filter is 3/4 on usage life according to the gauge on the side of it. The other thing is the truck will smoke black under acceleration? After I take it for a cruise down the interstate and let it get nice and warmed up and cleared out it wont smoke at all? Truck has 84000 on it there is absolutely no engine lights ive cleaned the map and air flow sensors as well. I dont want to jump to a conclusion on a bad injector... I just want to make sure I didnt overlook something or anything like that... any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you.

I'm leaning toward a bad injector. You should do an injector cut out test if you have the ability to.

Deff. need to check injector return rates. You could also check your fuel tube nuts and make sure they are tight. Id check the nuts and go from there.
