Default to buy or not to buy?

Well guys, the 12v has been payed off for a while now. and im thinkin about buying a newer daily driver and keeping ol' lurch for a weekend toy. My dad told me he would sell me his common rail for a good deal, $12,000. its a 2004 2500 ccsb 4x4 HO. its got 160,000 miles on it,completly rust free, scratch free and dent free. its been undercoated every couple years and washed regularly. Candy apple red paint loaded interior, cold air intake 4 inch turbo back magnaflow and an edge EZ chip that as far as i know has never left stage 1. the filters and oil have been done every 5000 miles (i always have done it for him). just wondering if you guys think its a good price.
