Take a jack and check out front suspension, steering components (2wd or 4wd). Pay particular attention to the hubs. W/ the front tires up, see if there is any side/side movement. While drving listen for "popping" sounds (bad end links/ tie rod ends). Check function of A/C & heat both for vent temp output ( is it hot or cold, don't need exact temps) & correct vent function (blend doors tend to fail). Look at the injector line isolaters. A "modded" truck can either be a good thing, stuff has been done, "or", stuff has been done and it has been beat on.
