Oil Change

Oil Change
On my 07 5.9... Not getting any younger, but still do oil changes, but need to make it easier for me to get underneath the truck.
Want to know if driving the front end up on ramps will put the oil pan at too much of an angle that won't let all the oil drain out. Is there a problem using ramps to help change the oil?

You could probably put em on 4x4's but with where our oil drain plugs are it'll leave some in the pan... Idk when I do the gf's envoy cause its so low to the ground i jack it up pull the plug lower it down.. when its done draining lift it back up, and finish what i need to do under it, and lower and it put oil back in it..

I built ramps for mine...three sections of 2x12 stacked, provided me 4.5 inches of "lift", plus it was a sloped driveway. You can't get all the oil out anyway, because of the oil pan design.
I had a Fumoto oil drain on my truck, that helped. I know some guys ran the oil filter relocation kits; but I never liked the idea that you could potentially be restricting the oil flow.
