Default 03 hard to start when cold

I have a 03 3500 and when it is cold the first start if the day it spins over for a little while before it cranks. After that it is good to go. No smoke. Could that be injectors, glow plugs(or does it have them)? It does have 275,000 miles on it. Pretty sure they are stock injectors. And ideas? Thanks

You might get the injectors tested. My truck started having probelms with starting in the cold, after replacing almost everything it turned out to be the injectors.

Thanks for the replies. After posting this it seems to be doing good. Just in case there something wrong with the injectors, where is the best and cheapest place to buy? Thanks again

with that many miles you may want to replace injectors.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

you can get them tested for as little as $10 each. Some computers can check contribution rates without removing the injectors.

Would injectors make the motor really noisy when cold? I guess you call it injector knock. Where is the best place to get a new set or rebuilt injectors?
